04:21 - 2008 FTSC membership election Final results
No objections have been filed within the alloted time frame, therefore
the result of the FTSC standing member election is now final.
We welcome three new members: Nick Andre, Vince Coen and Fred Riccio.
Standing members Michiel Broek, Stas Degteff, mark lewis, Dieter Ringhofer, Carol Shenkenberger and Alexey Vissarionov were elected into another two year term.
The membership list is now as follows:
As a personal note I may add that I am pleased with the success of this election. We got some new members who I trust will find their way into the team and become a valuable addition. Nearly 40% of the nodelisted RC's came to vote. I appreciate some in the *C chain believe this could have been better and worry about dead wood in the ranks. They may have a point as seen from their perspective. As a FidoNet member however, I compare this with other FidoNet elections and from that point of view, I can not but conclude that voter participation was high for a FidoNet election.
I thank all the voters for taking the time and energy to vote.
